A carnival is held each year, where a young person is elected Carnival Queen and travels through the village as part of a procession of floats, which ends on the Primary school field where stalls are set up and a stage for music and other entertainment is provided. The Parade starts from Ford Street. There are always lots of attractions both on the parade and on the show field. Cornerstone CafeCornerstone

Tupton has its own coffee shop. Cornerstone is an attractive and convenient spot for a delicious cup of coffee and a bite to eat with friends. The name reminds us of Jesus our Cornerstone.

As it says in 1 Peter 2:6, "See, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame".
